Fei cried out as a beam grazed him as the Police were chasing after him. Of course they were after him, they always were, ever since his special abilities started to manifest. He didn’t know what they would do to him, but he was sure that it wouldn’t be pretty. A weapon, they no doubt wanted to turn him into a weapon…
Hopping over some hedges and holding his injured arm, he found his way into a yarded area and crashed through some glass to break into Dr. Light’s lab and took shelter on the floor as he took the time to catch his breath and examining the laser burn wound on his arm…

Once again Fei was travelling around the timelines, hopping from world to world as he tried to make sure everything stayed normal and no one else interfered, trying to change history on a world for their advantage.
This time though, he was a little sleepy so didn’t pay enough attention to setting the correct settings on his time device, resulting in a rough transit. He barely managed to stay conscious for a few seconds before collapsing onto the sidewalk unconscious close by Yuma’s school…

"Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Fei!" (from Shinjiro)
Fei laughed softly as he read the message, fingers pausing over his phone before he typed back.
“Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too, Shin.”
From Shinjiro, no less—guess I’m honored. He added a grin in his next line.
“Hope you’re staying warm and not getting yourself into trouble. Let’s catch up soon, yeah?”
"Hey, Fei, your best from Elementary school is a nerd and his quirk is way too creepy. He makes people laugh for hours if he even smiles at them. Why would someone keep such a weirdo for a friend?" The bully asked, sneering.
Fei’s eyes narrowed as he took in the bully’s sneer. A calm but determined expression replaced his usual hesitant smile, and he didn’t even hesitate to respond. “Maybe because he’s a better friend than any of you could ever hope to be.” His voice was steady, but a flash of defiance sparked in his eyes. “Shin’s never been anything but kind, and he’s got a lot more courage than anyone who’d pick on someone for being different.”
Fei glanced around the room, addressing anyone who was listening. “If his quirk bothers you, that’s your problem, not his.” He leaned back, looking the bully straight in the eye.

Search: "What do you do when you feel sad about everything?"
Fei paused, taken aback by the question. He looked down for a moment, his usual bright demeanor dimming slightly as he thought it over. “When I feel sad about everything?” He repeated softly, almost as if he were asking himself.
He took a deep breath, glancing off to the side as if searching for an answer in the distance. “Honestly… I try to remind myself that it’s okay to feel sad sometimes. It’s not always easy, but I just let myself feel it instead of pretending it’s not there.” Fei rubbed the back of his neck, a small, almost sheepish smile appearing. “I used to think I had to be positive all the time, but I learned that if I don’t give myself time to feel the bad stuff, it builds up until I can’t hold it in anymore.”
Fei looked back up, his expression gentler now. “When it gets really bad, I usually do something small that makes me happy, like drawing or going outside. Just to remind myself that there are good things, too. Even if they feel far away in that moment.”
His gaze softened, a flicker of something vulnerable in his green eyes. “And… sometimes I think about the people who still care about me, no matter what. Even if I feel alone, I know there’s at least one person who would miss me if I wasn’t around.” He hesitated, then shrugged lightly, a tiny, bittersweet smile tugging at his lips. “That helps me keep going.”
Fei’s voice grew quieter, but his smile grew a bit more sincere. “So, I guess… if you’re feeling sad about everything, try to give yourself permission to feel it. But don’t forget the little things that make life worth it, okay?” He glanced back up, his eyes warm. “You’re not alone, even when it feels like you are.”
"Smile like the world's never seen you smile before."
Fei blinked in surprise, his eyes widening at the request. “Smile like the world’s never seen me smile before?” he echoed, tilting his head slightly as he thought about it. It was such a strange thing to ask.
For a moment, he hesitated. His smile had always been something he kept in check, something he controlled, especially now that his quirk was tied so closely to his emotions. What if something happened?
But then, he remembered the times he had smiled freely—times when he was with friends, when he felt safe and didn’t have to worry about his quirk. Those moments were rare, but they were real. And maybe, just maybe, this was one of those moments.
Slowly, a grin spread across his face, starting small but growing brighter, more genuine. His green eyes sparkled with a warmth that felt almost foreign to him, as if he were letting go of a weight he’d been carrying. “Alright,” he said softly, his smile widening as he leaned into it. “Here goes.”
And for the first time in a long while, Fei Rune smiled like the world had never seen before—radiant, unburdened, and completely himself.
