Even in this sore and sorry state, I can still muscle up 💪
I think my form is slightly better re the elbow flare, and I can do them slightly easier than previously. I did 6 just now, with breaks in between, which is a personal best. Final one was a partial chicken wing though
I've barely been doing the progressions and just focussing on weighted pull ups (25kg x 4-4-3 is my best, or 30kg x 1) and I think that's really been helping.
Hurt myself because my muscle up form is bad 😞
Feeling a bit defeated because I need to take a few steps back and go back to the progressions. I can only do them if I flare my elbows out, and this hurts my shoulder(s). My right one is sore now just from doing a few jump and band ones, because even those I do with a flare.
Think I've gotta go back and practice the dips and pull ups with kips/ bands with my elbows tucked in. I was trying to do jump and band ones with my elbows in today and I've hurt my right shoulder. I still had a good chest/tricep workout though. And I'll be resting a bit over the next few days because we're going away for easter. But even after that I should hold of anything muscle up until my shoulder stops hurting I think.
