As much as she had pouted and fussed when Hime had insisted that she would prepare their special friendship brunch all by herself, Megumi had eventually resigned herself to wait patiently for her blue haired friend to finish. If it had been months earlier, she might have been more forceful in her attempts to help- but if there was one thing she’d learned recently, it was how to relax a little.

So she was excited to see what Hime had prepared for them! As her friend brought the covered dish out, she couldn’t help but drool a little in anticipation- it certainly smelled delicious, at least!

“Oh, so it’s waffles, huh~?” Reaching across the table, Megumi carefully taking the lid off of the metal dish and setting it aside. “I’ve been looking forward to this~!”

At first, Chiyo had only called out to this girl because she was curious as to what she thought of the manga she held in her hands- after all, it was none other than Let’s Love!, the manga that Nozaki drew. She thought he would appreciate it if she got impressions on it from an actual middle school aged girl.

But the very moment she mentioned having a ‘special guy she was fond of who didn’t realize her feelings’, a spark lit up in Chiyo’s eyes, as if she was sensing a kindred spirit. Indeed, that was a feeling she could understand all too well- though it was ironic that the ‘special guy’ she was thinking of was none other than the artist drawing the manga that was so relatable!

“So this goes here…” murmurs the One Eyed Dragon as he struggles with the ribbon in her hair. His tongue sticks out as he concentrates his attention to the stupid piece of fabric giving him such a hard time for the past half hour. He groans as it comes undone again, and he picks it up with a series of curses under his breath.

As much as he didn’t want to admit it, Maria had a point. It was strange watching his own body speak to him, stranger still than he thought it would be. Considering his appearance as Phantom wasn’t even his original form, he thought perhaps that would take the edge off things at least a little- but apparently he was wrong.

Well, he had spent the last three hundred years in that body, as opposed to his actual fairy form, so he had gotten pretty attached to it.

‘Maria’s’ shoulders slumping somewhat as Phantom took her advice and calmed down somewhat, he allowed himself to be lead to the nearest bench. It was strange, being led by his own body- for once, he noticed how tall he was in that form.
