A) The bitter jealousy of the successor, angered by how the original version is adored.

B) The "indifference" of the original. Is it indifference or inability to cope with emotions? Not even the original copy knows anymore.

C) The successor dies first, at the hands of Kira. Perhaps their death is a silent motivator for the original. Maybe it is not.

D) The successor is a criminal, far removed from the lifestyle where they first met the original.

E) The successors are either directly or indirectly brought down by a woman.

F) There's always a replacement.

armandiel shippers/ devils minion truthers won but were left with even more questions
