You are trans enough. Not being FTM or MTF doesn't make you less trans. If you're non binary, you're trans if that's what you call your experience, yourself.

Yes, even if you "dont look trans". (how does trans even look? Like the being tied in some way to the "opposite" gender??)

Listen. You arent limited to expressing yourself through femininity alone if you were raised as a boy or masculinity alone if you were raised as a girl. You are trans enough even if you're not feminine/masculine respectively.

Looking like a pericis person doesn't make you less trans.

Having to reject everything from one gender norm to embrace the other to be recognised as trans isnt less oppressive than the cis binary already is.

So. If you were raised and imposed to be a guy, and now you're non binary trans and masc, you are valid. You dont have to reject everything about masculinity to validate your transness. Viceversa.

Your gender/presentation isnt "less trans" because of it. And, in my opinion, if you are a trans and masc person, you can call yourself transmasc. If you are a trans and fem person, you can call yourself transfem. You dont have to transition to the "opposite" side of your assigned gender to earn calling yourself trans. Genderqueer, agender, bigender, demigender, maverique, it's all trans enough already.

Im a transfemmasc multigender enby boygirl (if your first question is "how??", check out this post [link] where I explain why I call myself the way I do) and I wanted to make a space specifically to call out multigenderphobia or multigendermisia, aka the discrimination and erasure of multigender identities. I see it a lot tied with rethoric that puts man/woman, masculinity/femininity, cis/trans, binary/nonbinary, gay/straight or gay/lesbian as opposite, mutually exclusive experiences.

This fuels the belief in oppositional sexism and harms *everyone*, but because non binary and specifically multigender people are rarely if ever focused on, even though this rethoric targets us in particular, I wanted to try and contribute my own to the community through this blog.

Should go without saying that any hatred towards contradictory labels is also multigenderphobia, although multigender people arent the only one to use them. This blog is therefore absolutely inclusive of mspec lesbians/gays, cistrans, gaybians, boygirls and manwomen, xenogenders, non binary men and non binary women, honeybee transfem and carpenter bee transmascs and all other labels used in good faith. Also should go without saying, any a-spec identities, ace, aro, afamilial, aplatonic, etc and oriented aroaces + polyamorous people.

This blog is also safe for systems and plurals of any origin, people of colour, intersex people, physically and/or mentally disabled people, neurodivergent people and all personality/mood disorders, and should go without saying but with the current discourse and infighting Ill state it, binary trans women and binary trans men. I support everyone in talking about their oppression and struggles.

That's not a bad thing!! It is for sure something Ive noticed in my trans positivity posts though. One of my posts that has gone around the most is the one about how trans activism shouldn't stop at x group. And people rightfully reply with "trans activism shouldn't stop at any group" or sometimes even wonder why I made a whole list when I couldve just said that.

Here's the thing y'all. It's because everyone disagrees on who trans people are. If someone says "support all trans people", they could really mean just binary trans people because non binary people arent trans in their book. Or they could mean just white people, because they dont bother looking at poc perspectives. Or they could mean just abled people, or perisex people, or gender conforming people, and so on and so forth.

If I said "support all trans people, your trans activism shouldn't stop at anyone, full stop" someone could've thought that meant transIDs too. People who call themselves transrace or transabled.

I made a post about how generalization against trans women in discussions of transandrophobia is bad, and people rightfully reply with "generalization against any group of people is bad". And lie, yes, agreed! But what others consider "people" is unfortunately not universal. Generalization against a group of people can be bad to someone, until it's trans people. Until it's trans women, or trans men, or intersex people, or non binary people. Until it is black people, or muslims, or jews, or atheists or pagans. Until it is disabled people, neurodivergent people, poor people, and so on and so forth.

Sometimes in seeing those comments it sounds like "why did you spend effort make a whole list lol you couldve just said everyone", it's not what people mean but it's kind of missing the point and not recognising why I made that effort.

We talk about specific things so others cant pretend to not have heard. They cant project their bias onto our words and keep on going w their lives thinking they're in the right. "Respect everyone" lets them do that. "Love trans women" lets them do that. Not only that, but it makes the people the post is supposed to uplift wonder if they're part of it. Do they count in the eyes of everyone agreeing? Or are they, for example, the "wrong type" of trans woman? Is the post supporting them, and are the people agreeing their allies, or do most of them ignore that they exist? Maybe the post is only about feminine trans women, because masculine ones arent considered really trans women, so no one thought to specify it.
