When Nina arrived at the Idea Cafe, she saw four figures standing by the door of the neighbouring building. Her steps slowed to a stop and she tilted her head at them curiously. It was impossible for her not to smile when the Movers were grinning ear to ear, looking at her like dogs excited to greet their owner coming back home.
"Nina!" they all waved at her with their usual enthusiasm.
"Hey guys! What's going on?" she asked, feeling a sense of déjà vu.
The Movers signalled for her to come over as they hurriedly motioned their hands. Nina thought of the possible reasons for their odd behaviour, but with these guys, she could never really be sure.
The moment she was within Scott's reach, he pulled her into a hug. "We have a surprise for you!" he announced cheerfully.
"A surprise?" she asked as they broke the embrace. A thought suddenly clicked in her mind. "Wait, did I miss a 'specific number of days of our friendship' anniversary?"
"It's to celebrate our 1000th day friendship anniversary!" Smitty replied. He gently pushed the strands of hair away from Nina's face, his fingers lingering to brush her cheek.
"Oh. Of course." Nina's smile widened. "I wish I'd known sooner. I would've prepared my surprise for you guys too."
Rich took her hand, cupping it in both of his. "If we told you, it wouldn't have been much of a surprise, now would it?"
"I guess not." Nina giggled. The drummer brought her hand up and gave it a kiss before slowly letting go.
"Now, c'mon! Let's show you your gift before the cafe opens," Dave said, linking Nina's arm with his. The other Movers also joined in and guided her into the warehouse.

In this case Boris and Peggy with the others are metamours. I don't exactly know how to tag this since they're both kinda long-distance and more of a situationship for the two pairs. Anyway time for me to ramble hahaaaa.
What I think of the OT5 is that they don't really have the terminology? Even if they are technically queerplatonic polycule. Like, they wouldn't refer to their bond as QPR, just that they are each other's most important people. Does that make sense?
So Boris/Dave and Nina/Peggy are kinda casual or at least nothing established, but if they're ever around one another they'd meet up again. I think both these relationships started off somewhat unknown to the others because both Dave and Nina are trying to figure out what it means for them (?) , and like one day they decided to tell.
With Boris, the first one to accept is Nina because Dave already told her. I planned to write the other Movers finding out in an epilogue for AITMWD (the dovie writing), but haven't gotten to that. Anyway, the only one that has a little bit of something is Rich, who just feels a tiny bit intimidated (?) by how similar he and Boris could be, that he feels a little challenged/upstaged. It doesn't really affect him other than maybe teasing Dave a bit more, or trying to playfully prove he is better (?) in a one-sided competition.
For Peggy, I haven't gotten to write it (sigh, of course) but I thiiiink Nina would open up about it to Dave to understand her feelings. But also...... idk, I haven't thought that far. Nina's crush on Peggy started before she and the Movers were in the polycule. The Movers are generally supportive but not-so-secretly glad she didn't leave the country with Peggy.

Finally another Jack Jr modern AU fic, and my fill for day 6's prompt: 'beach!'
Also finally a fic where I give Jack a bit of time with his son, to reflect on his attempts at being a dad (he's doing his best. His best might not always be enough, but it's what he has to give.)
Day 4 of Multiamory March is short, sweet, silly, and not an endorsement for handling the overuse of late night snacks this way (by hiding in the pantry at the behest of your husbands, in an attempt to keep your step kids from eating you out of house and home with constant snacks snuck between midnight to three in the morning, like little mice lol)
