Valentines Day- Product exploration
As another detour of showcasing work from my past coursework of studies, I figured I would showcase some experiments I did with imagery in relations to Valentines Day.
For a while I have been doing some product making with different products so I challenged myself to create a design that could easily be translated/adapted onto multiple products.
In this experiment, I simply had a design consisting of a tree with basic leaves and hearts around it. The design was then adapted onto a test t-shirt and mug.
The t-shirt adaptation was a silhouette that was cut on vinyl and heat pressed onto the material. Meanwhile the design was adapted to have colour and effects included; Although the colours came out differently than planned, it still was well recieved by those who saw them.
The lineworks were drawn in Adobe Illustrator while the colour and effects were applied with Adobe Photoshop.
