Definition :

IVAD is a mental and neurological disorder where one is fully or mostly unable to express intimate feelings or vulnerability towards others. Let it be known that this is not due to choice or desire to not share these things, but from a literal inability, mostly in a form of mental block and/or intense, irrational anxiety or panic surrounding the act. PwIVAD also experience extremely low self-esteem, and: A) cannot perceive or think of themself as a sentient being. and/or B) experience dysphoria at being perceived and/or treated as a sentient being. PwIVAD also commonly have NPD and/or depressive disorders.

IVAD typically stems from childhood abuse, but this is not a requirement for diagnosis.

fictional reliance disorder (FRD)

> when one is heavily impacted by or heavily reliant on works of fiction. this includes;

holding views or beliefs that are mainly present in fiction/mainly based in fiction.

having unrealistic expectations of certain experiences.

relying heavily on works of fiction to function or prefering to interact with fiction over reality.

experiencing confusion or upsetness when something turns out different from the media they consume.

maladaptive daydreaming, if not daydreaming is still prevelant.

have an interest in creative arts such as drawing or writing.

Fluctuating Phobic Disorder (FPhD)

Fluctuating phobic disorder (FPhD), also called fluctuating phobia disorder, is a medically unrecognized disorder where one has a phobia that fluctuates in severity. This usually is fluctuating from no phobia to varying severities of the phobia, but can fluctuate from mild to severe with no period of no phobia. The fluctuations can have many causes: being a system/plural/polymind/etc (some headmates have the phobia and some don't), only experiencing the phobia when triggered, only experiencing it in certain situations, etcetera etcetera.

One can have this disorder and static phobias as well, for example: having FPhD with cynophobia (dogs) but having a static phobia with acrophobia (heights).

Plural Loneliness Depressive Disorder (PLDD)

A disorder classified by intense loneliness related to being plural or a system, caused by headmates that are not fronting or have gone dormant.

"headmates" can be replaced with alters/parts/sysmates/etc

One must have:

- An intense and subjectively debilitating feelings of loneliness caused by absence of a headmate(s).

- Inability or unwillingness to do activities one can usually do, especially when thinking of said headmate(s).

Common symptoms of this disorder include:

- Self harming behaviors amplified when thinking of aforementioned headmate(s).

- Intense attachment to anything reminiscent of said headmate(s).

- Anger towards other headmates/alters for not being the headmate(s) that one misses.

SOMS (sudden onset misanthropy syndrome)
