Top 10 TV Shows You Need To Watch Right Now
Now, I watch a lot of television. I always have and frankly, Iâm much more of a binge watcher than a wait-around-for-a-week-for-the-next-episode kind of watcher.Â
And with everything the past few months, there wasnât all that much to do other than start rewatching some of my favorite shows and some that Iâve never seen or havenât seen in a while.
So, thatâs what I did and here I am giving you some recommendations for shows to add to your own watching lists.Â
Warning, though, some of these donât end the best way and may end up more as a disappointment. Iâll leave that up to you to decide.

My money was always Kieran's killer being Brandon's brother Troy. Like that was my prediction before they took the show in another direction, because he was always mentioned here and there but we never got to see him. Did you have any theories?
I thought it could be Emma's dad (Kevin)
because Emma's mom (Maggie) doesn't trust him, doesn't believe Brandon James could hurt anyone but does believe that Kevin is capable of that kind of violence.
I always felt like the audio Emma heard at the bowling alley not only confirmed Maggie had sex with Brandon but a motivation that drove Kevin Duval to murder his friends.
Theres a lot of plot holes in this show though because no matter what theory we entertain, we have to consider that regardless someone else is also doing sketchy things.

Prompt: hi! idk if you take requests still, but can you do an imagine with audrey where y/n, audrey and noah have a horror night together and noah mistakenly puts on a movie where an animal dies ( maybe either hereditary or the conjuring ), even though y/n draws the line at horror films with animal deaths? then it really shakes y/n up a lot and audrey ends up comforting her.
This was a really cool request because I also hate when animals die in horror movies
Words: 1951
Warnings: swearing and mention of a animal death I do state before the paragraph that it happens. The film is the babadook, so spoiler warnings and also its a dog.Â
Following the murders, it had become something of a tradition with Audrey and Noah to hold a movie night every Friday. Once a month theyâd invite the rest of the Lakewood Five, every now and again Stavo would join and occasionally theyâd invite whoever theyâd happened to be seeing at the time.Â
You were relatively new to town and youâd fallen in with Noah pretty quickly as you were smart and funny. You also happened to be openly *your sexual orientation* and taking the same classes as him. From the start heâd pegged you as a good match for Audrey as you had the same style, sense of humour and, well, Lakewood was a small town, the pickings were slim.Â
Noah had waited a few weeks for you to settle in before he brought up the idea, but recently heâd become more insistent. Today had been no exception, heâd caught you as you left the last class of the day and done some insisting.Â
âYouâre perfect for her, Y/N. Youâre so sweet, youâre smart and funny,â heâd laughed âand you have no random ties to Lakewood from a past life that might come back to haunt us,â a cautious pause, âthat we know of.âÂ
Honestly you quite liked the idea. Audrey had always been nice to you, she was funny, and so hot; but you didn't want to push it or force anything on her that she wasnât super into. Because of this, youâd resisted getting to know her too well. You were also immensely aware of the fate of her exs. Audrey had been devastated by Rachelâs death, and though she had dated a couple of other girls, none of them had seemed to work out. It was no secret that all of the girls of the Lakewood Six had struggled with their relationships after the Kieran revelation.Â
âI really donât know, Noah,â youâd replied, âis this something youâve even discussed with Audrey?â
âUh, well,â heâd laughed, flustered, ânot exactly.â
âOkay then,â you smiled, but you felt a little hurt, âbye Noah.â Why had he been so persistent if Audrey didnât even know it was a conversation he was having?
âY/N, please,â he grabbed your arm, âhear me out.â
And you did. He explained that Audrey had told him (on separate occasions) that she felt she was ready for something new, and -in passing- that she thought you were cute. âI know sheâs ready, I just donât want to push too hard too soon,â heâd told you.
You nodded, still unsure, the last thing you wanted was to be something Audrey would regret.Â
âSo, I was thinking,â Noah was ecstatic, like heâd just had the greatest epiphany of all time, âyou should come to movie night tonight.â
âIsnât it an invite only, private movie night, just for you guys?â âWell, kinda. But itâs also a way for you guys to hang out outside of school, no pressure.â
âAnd the group wonât feel weird that Iâm there?â âItâs just Audrey and I tonight,â he couldnât have been more proud of himself, âand you, of course.âÂ
Youâd attempted to tell Noah that you werenât sure, especially because you werenât 100% clear on anything other than the âmovie nightâ part, but before you could say anything else Noah was out the door, yelling âsee you there, text you the detailsâ as he ran.
-Â Â
You arenât even sure whose house youâre arriving at as you pull into the driveway. Your watch reads 8:45; youâre early, but only just. You grab the snacks from your passengers seat -if you were going to come you were going to come prepared- and head for the door. You only have to wait a few seconds after ringing the bell before the door opens and youâre greeted by Audrey.Â
âOh, Y/N,â Audrey exclaimes, dressed in a black tank top and plaid PJ pants. âI didnât expect to see you.â
Of course Noah didnât tell her.
âNoah invited me,â you blurt, hoping you donât look as embarrassed as you sound.Â
âCool,â Audrey nods, âyouâre early, though. Like, super early.â
âNoah said nine?âÂ
âItâs usually nine thirty,â Audrey nods.Â
âOh,â you feel your cheeks burning. âI brought snacks,â your arm flies up, and the snacks fling around in the bag.Â
âReusable,â she smiles, âthatâs cool,â Audrey says as she steps out of the way, gesturing for you to come in.Â
âYeah,â you smile, âsave the environment and all.â
âSure.â
Itâs so awkward you could kill Noah.Â
Audrey leads you into the kitchen and stops on one side of the counter, âcan I get you a drink?â
âUh, sure,â you say, looking around, âyour house is so quiet.â
âYeah, my dads out for the weekend,â she pauses and smiles, âbusiness and all,â she mocks your awkward remark from earlier.Â
You laugh, starting to unpack the bag as she pours you a drink.Â
âWow, you really brought everything,â Audrey laughs, impressed.Â
âOh yeah,â you remark, âI come prepared.â
âThese are my favourite!â Audrey exclaimes, picking up a packet of sweets.
âMine too,â you laugh, âI brought âem in every flavour.â
âNice.â
Audrey pulls out bowls, and you start filling them with all your supplies. Time seems to pass at an exceptional speed, because before you know it, Noahâs knocking at the door.Â
âHeâs late,â Audrey states matter-of-factly, before grabbing and opening another packet of chips.
âSo youâre not letting him in?â you laugh. âNot immediately,â she smiles, shrugging, âhe made us wait.â
You spend a couple more minutes in the kitchen filling bowls and chatting, and almost forget about Noah altogether.Â
Noah, however, refuses to be forgotten; knocking incessantly until the door opens.
âTook you long enough!â He exclaims, pushing past Audrey. âOh, hey, Y/N.â
âYouâre late,â Audrey states, crosses her arms; she looks so cute when sheâs pretending to be mad.
âBut I brought snacks,â Noah smiles, holding up a bag of popcorn and a chocolate bar.Â
You gesture to the table you and Audrey have spent the past almost hour filling with chocolate, sweets, chips and popcorn -among other things.Â
âWoah, whereâd all this come from.âÂ
Audrey smiles at you, and you state, âI like to come prepared.âÂ
âWell then,â Noah winks at you, âlet's get this party started.â
Audrey turns to you, âitâs Noahâs turn to pick films this week, so theyâre probably going to be some outdated indie films with a very disjointed plot.â
âClassics, Audrey, not outdated. And by the way, theyâre classics for a reason,â Noah smiles, âbut no, actually this week I was thinking: new cult classics.â âHow can they be cult classics if theyâre new,â you smirk.
âThey just are,â Noah huffs, falling onto an armchair.Â
You nod, taking a seat on the couch. Audrey sits next to you, almost a bit close.Â
âSo what are we watching, then?â Â
âWeâre starting with the Babadook, then It Follows and finally Cabin in the Woods.â
âCool,â you nod, you havenât seen any of them but youâre open to it.Â
âShall we begin?â Noah asks, grabbing the remote. You and Audrey nod as he types, Babadook into the menu.
Audrey gets up to turn out the lights, you grab a bowl of popcorn and watch as the film starts. Audrey sits back down and shuffles closer to you, placing her hand in the bowl; your stomach settles, maybe this wonât be so bad.Â
The first half of the film wasnât for you but as it progressed Audrey had moved incrementally closer, and as the film reached its climax she was almost in your lap. You had pretty much stopped focusing on the film altogether, and you were fine with that, Audrey smelt like sandalwood and vanilla. Youâd been watching what was happening on screen but -with almost no context- it made little sense.Â
*animal death mentioned*
You were up to a part where the Babadook has possessed Amelia, and just as you were starting to get back into the film, it happened. Amelia breaks the neck of the poor little dog.Â
*mention over*
You jump at the sight of it, immediately feeling ill. Tears well in your eyes, and you begin to struggle to breathe.Â
Audrey turns to you, concerned.Â
âAre you okay, Y/N.âÂ
Tears stream down your face, and you choke out a, âyeah.âÂ
Audrey isnât convinced, âNoah, turn it off,â she says, growing concerned.Â
âBut this is the good bit,â Noah wines, âsheâs just about to-â
âFucks sake, Noah, turn it off!â Audrey yells. She pulls you closer to her.
This time Noah compiles, jumping for the remote. Youâre still in shock.
âIâm fine,â you whisper, âitâs fine,â you repeat with mascara stained cheeks.Â
You try your hardest to hold it in. It's just a movie, you tell yourself. But you canât control yourself as you start to sob. You feel yourself curl up, resting your head in the crook of her neck.Â
âY/N,â Noah realises whatâs going on, âIâm so sorry. I didnât realise.â
Now youâre the one almost in Audreyâs lap. You feel her hand on your back where your shirt has started to lift; it's warm on your bare skin, slowly moving to soothe you. Her other hand sits on the back of your neck, fingers at the start of your scalp.Â
You forget what it was that you were crying about. All you can think about is how good you feel being held by Audrey. So comfortable; so safe.
Youâre reminded of how good Audrey smells; the sandalwood and vanilla from before are mixed with the butter and salt of the popcorn, as well as the sweet raspberry and grape of your favourite sweets. She smells delicious, and you become overwhelmed by your urge to kiss her.Â
You donât remember when you stopped crying but suddenly you have. Everything is still. You lift your head from Audreyâs shoulder, staring up at her.Â
âYou okay?â she asks.
You nod, realising Noah is no longer in the room.Â
Your back feels cold as her other hand moves up to your neck. Audrey wipes away a streak of your mascara, resting her thumb on your cheek. She now cradles your face in her hands, her eyes darting between your lips, tear stained cheeks and your eyes.Â
She hasnât moved to kiss you but she hasnât moved away, so you inch forward. Audrey closes the gap, leaning her forehead against yours. You close your eyes, brushing your lips against hers. Theyâre soft. Her scent is so strong now, you feel like you could get drunk on it.Â
Smiling, you pull back; Audrey lingers. Her eyes open and she smiles at you. You laugh, unsure of what to say.Â
Audrey pulls you back in, kissing you again but harder. Her left hand finds its way to your waist. Your right hand moves up, resting on her cheek.Â
You hear Noah re enter the room, but you arenât sure of what he said. You and Audrey pull apart, and she gives you a peck, before turning to look up at Noah.Â
âWhat up, mood killer?â she questions.Â
âI was just going to ask if you guys wanted to watch a different movie maybe? But I can leave again,â Noah heads back in the direction of the kitchen.Â
âItâs okay,â you and Audrey say in unison, laughing at the coincidence.Â
âWe can watch another one,â Audrey says, before turning her attention back to you, âdo you want to stay tonight?âÂ
You simply nod.Â
Noah smiles at the two of you together and nods before saying, âhow about just Scream?â
âA classic,â you laugh, âsure.âÂ
Noah sets up the film. You and Audrey shuffle around on the couch intertwined, trying to get comfortable.
i made this gif before the SEASON 2 FINALE and my KEMMA feels are DEAD.
