Okay. First off yes I know it’s after 4 in the morning but I just got done playing a standard ranked match in MTG Arena. Imagine winning the game with -812 life. I just did.
Long story short there is a card called The Book of Exalted Deeds. I used it to give an angel on my field “You cannot lose the game and your opponents cannot win the game.” So in a war of attrition that CRASHED my app and took roughly an hour to play out. I won because my opponent ran out of time.
To be fair this would have happened simply if my opponent did not have any way to destroy that angel as they would have ran out of cards and lost on that final draw and I would have had an even lower health total. I believe they did not have any cards in their deck to remove that angel as I had not seen any yet. However, that doesn’t mean they didn’t have any.
But to that random person who decided to force the server to have to deal with that. I wish you a very good day. You almost made me wish to stop playing the meta Trelasarra, Moon Dancer deck and I wish I could have played it in person, if not just to see how it would have actually ended. Good Game!
