âSherlockâs?â Irene mused softly. She had been there a few hours ago. Leaving a present for him, before texting him about it. âIâm glad itâs only from the cold.â Tonight she would die. Tonight her lips would turn blue for another reason than the crisp winter air.
Or at least that would be what all her official papers would state. She had passed her phone along to Sherlock to make sure that he knew better. A way to ensure that one day she might return. âYou can have mine. I wonât need it, my car will be here soon.â
â  -- Er, yes. Sherlock. â She glances once more that the woman, unsure. â The detective. â Must be a fan of Johnâs blog, or just anyone that read the papers. She had this habit of talkingÂ
aloud, rambling too much. One of these days it was going to get her in trouble. â -- I left in a sort of hurry.  â And she had liked that coat, too. Now she was never going to get it back.Â
â  Oh n o , I couldnât possibly--  â Molly tries to refuse, but her teeth are chattering, and her lips do feel NUMB, perhaps the stranger is right. â But I donât even know you, I couldnât take your coat. Iâll be alright. Frostbite doesnât kick in so early anyway.  â
