This fabulous pink velvet gown was first seen in 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆’𝒔 𝑬𝒏𝒅 on Rebecca Hall as Sylvia Tjetjens in 2012.   The dress was used again in the 2014 second season of 𝑴𝒓. 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒈𝒆 on an extra. Mr Selfridge season 3

This stunning Edwardian gown is a wonderful example of how lighting choices can change the way we view a garment in different productions.   The dress was initially seen on Michelle Dockery as Lady Mary Crawley in the first season of 𝑫𝒐𝒘𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒏 𝑨𝒃𝒃𝒆𝒚 in 2010, where it appeared quite green. This Edwardian gown is a beauty, isn’t it? It has been used by several actresses in many roles over the years.   In 2018, the costume was worn by Eleanor Tomlinson as Georgie Raoul-Duval in 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦. Before that, in 2013, Zoe Tapper wore the dress as Ellen Love in 𝘔𝘳. 𝘚𝘦𝘭𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘨𝘦. This dress was originally created for the 2004 film 𝘗𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘰𝘮 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢 , where Miranda Richardson wore it as Madame Giry.   But did you know that this dress made a second appearance on screen almost a decade later? This necklace has made its mark on the screen not once but three times...kind of.   In the wonderful 1995 mini-series 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒔, this exquisite necklace was worn by both Gwen Humble as Mrs. St. George, as well as Allison Elliott as Virginia St. George.   Fast forward to 2013, when Natalia Kremen was spotted wearing the same necklace style as in the first season of 𝑴𝒓.𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒈𝒆.
