They need to part ways with karlo kirri. I get that it’s a great sponsorship and is part of the reason why we get so many music videos and stuff lately, but GOD does it feel like karlo kirri is just using them for cloud… that entire music video was just a karlo kirri production and it really shows.
JO has never been as sexual about women as they’ve been since their partnership with Karlo Kirri. Sure, they have many songs about sex, but it used to be expressed through metaphors and lyrics. (I do believe the graphic description of sex in Supersonic is Devito’s doing cause those lyrics is nothing like what Bojan has previously written and obviously it’s a collab.) And the previous music videos that has been very centered on women has been very respectful and creative (yes I think Bluza was a non-sexiest video)
Also it’s not just JO.
MRFY (great band btw) worked with Kirri for their mv too and it was just an advertisement for the clothes and it sucked!
I get why they need management cause obviously they have a thousand things at once to attend to, but they honestly need to take a look at their team and ask themselves if working with a brand that represents women as sexual beings and uses them for cloud is the direction they wanna go in…
