As I was kind'a mulling over Belles story, I realized that there could be some conflict between her and Sage.. Maybe Sage would feel like Tinker is favoring Belle over her..

So to fix that, I thought that Belle could have been a family project that had most of her construction done in the family home. She was something that all of them worked on together. Sage especially was a big contributor to her design. That way Sage adored Belle just as much as Tinker did.🥺

This also makes her transition from "mindless robot" to "sentient family member" more seamless. She was already loved by everyone so much.🧡
