I finished writing a small scene for Hotshot and Eustace🥳🎉 I'll post it when I finish the artwork that goes alongside it. Until then, here are some headcanons between the two bc family dynamics in audio settings are underrated as hell🥹🥹
• Hotshot, whenever triggered by a mention of their parents or talk of gun violence, will go sit with Eustace while he's on his break without saying anything and just let his presence calm them down.
• Eustace has snacks in his drawer for when Hotshot stays after class to train bc despite Hotshot's dismissal of the fact, he's still worried the kid isn't eating enough.
• Eustace has a photo of Hotshot with their parents in his desk that he took years ago before everything fell apart. He keeps it close to remind him exactly what he's here for.
• Hotshot has an entire folder in their phone for photos of Eustace they've sneakily taken while the man was working. No particular reason for it, they just find it fun to do.
• Hotshot ships Eustace with the air elemental teacher hard and is constantly trying to get him to ask them out on an actual date.
• Every single time, without fail, whenever the students try to rank which teacher is the hottest, Eustace is always eliminated from the discussion bc the mere mention of his name in this context makes Hotshot throw up. Everyone think they despise him.
• Eustace will sneak Hotshot out of the school on the anniversary of their parents' deaths to let them grieve without having to hide it from their partner and friends, and will take them to the grave site so they can sit there together and share memories.
