yanluo pinches his nose from his hiding spot between two large dumpsters that smell gut-wrenchingly awful. he hopes the stench doesn't seep into his clothes. and prays that whatever puddle beneath his louis vuitton's is water.
he can still hear them. can still hear the tell-tale whispers of a dozen voices and excited trills. their quick, youthful footsteps too close for comfort. its safe to say yanluo blames the greek god fully; he should have never left the council building with apollo, even if yanluo had needed to ask him something.
it might've been safer than to be tracked and bombarded by a group of determined demigods and demigoddesses alike asking for apollo's digits.
one, yanluo does not know the god like that. and two; what are digits?
as if it couldn't get worse, yanluo hears a frantic, "found him!"
"i regret to inform you," yanluo presses his lips together, chagrined. the trouble that taints the greek gods never fails to surprise him. "but i don't think i'll be going anywhere."
It is the crowd’s sudden appearance that surprised the god, though completely aware of his growing and expansive fanbase. It was just moments after leaving his work with some of his comrades that he got stormed, and in the madness, they got separated.
When Apollo finally finds him, the other’s words come just a moment too late as the many fan girls and boys are already gushing at his feet. It was really a pain, the lack of privacy and exceedingly interested fans. Though, secretly, it was a pain that only seemed to keep Apollo’s ego in the skies.
The growing chants grew from the crowd, and thinking quick on his feet, the god produced his legendary bow and scribbled some random numbers onto a loose sheet of a paper. “To the fan who can find this note, I will give you my time.” He declares, and in an excessive show of might, he stabbed the paper with his arrow before shooting it far off into the distance.
The temptation was far too strong from the fans, even if being before him was enough. So the many feet shuffled away from them, with just the rare few standing to gawk. Apollo offers Yanluo his hand, to help him off of whatever substance he was standing on. “Clearly, you’ve underestimated me a lot today. Come on. Let’s go before I have to start giving away my clothes.”
