Here's another Artfight, this time the OC Hiveheart by Iconmaster, who's a Sliver Planeswalker from Magic the Gathering!

Given my feelings on how fantasy works that actively decenter non-humanlike characters are bitchass cowards, and that doubly applies to Magic and its userbase preferring the human-y Planeswalkers, y'all know it was love at first sight for the idea of a Sliver Planeswalker.

I drew her as if she's casting some sort of dark gribbly, maybe Death's Shadow but I'm not sure given how they don't seem wounded enough to make that work.

:September 5 2018: Hey guys, I finally get to show this one off :3 it started as a commission for a client, but I ended up liking the final product so much I asked if I could do some tweaks and sell it as a playmat (I'll post the original when the client releases it, it is also quite cute :3) and here we are!

the scenes behind her are all Innistrad lands, I can't for the life of me remember what the one beside Gavony is though.

The mat was a lot of fun to do, but also a little bit of a pain, I do not like drawing buildings, I really don't, they have all these awful square edges and angles and all sorts of other boring things that keep them from falling over.
