So I found out that horses do in fact exist in Star Wars (Wookieepedia says they’re found on Endor, Dathomir and Coruscant!), and as I'm a certified Horse Girl™, I had to draw the mounted division of the Coruscant Guard!
Maybe one day I’ll be patient enough to give this a proper Coruscant background, but not today.

As promised part one: yesterdays inktober. And it’s pretty basic. And I couldn’t remember what exactly the horsearmor (which is not an armor really, just a blanket) looks like but... yeah whatever. I still think it’s kinda strange that there are no stirrups in Skyrim, yet alone in Enderal. Those poor people... Then again all those mounted guards look as if they have never ridden a horse before.
Couldn’t get a knight in shining armor on short notice, so y’all will have to make do with a knight in caf-stained armor.

In regards to your post about the space horses, what do you think the clones and/or their Jedi generals would name their assigned horses if they were given the opportunity? Or just nickname them
Oooh good question! So, the two in the picture are Speeder (bay) and Baylor (black). I like to think that Bute named Speeder because he's "an overrated vehicle" (don't be fooled - Bute loves that grumpy gelding!) and Fetlock named Baylor that because he deserved a regal name.
As for the other horses, I think they'd initially be numbered and not named, similar to how BLM mustangs (and clones) are. Taking clone culture into consideration, I believe most of the Mounted Guard would think their horse needs to earn its name - maybe there's a mare named Leech because of her affinity for biting and holding onto unsuspecting victims (she's Fox's favorite - definitely gonna draw them at some point!), or there's a gelding named Ram because he'll plow through crowds with no remorse.
All in all, I think that the clones would obviously become very attached to their horses, and much like in real policing, joining the Mounted Guard is a coveted position. So when a clone joins, they take naming their horse very seriously - a name is an honor that every clone and every horse deserves. If they are assigned a horse that belongs to a fallen brother, they take the time to learn the meaning behind the horse's name and they do their best to honor it and the brother that named it. Just like the clones, their horses aren't just numbers - they're individuals.

Mounted Royal Guard at Hassan Tower (2 of 2) by jimsawthat Via Flickr: Rabat, Morocco. Hassan Tower is the incomplete minaret of an incomplete mosque in Rabat, Morocco. It was commissioned by Abu al-Mansur near the end of the 12th century. The tower was intended to be the largest minaret in the world, and the mosque, if completed, would have been the largest in the western Muslim world. When al-Mansur died in 1199, construction on the mosque stopped. The minaret was left standing at a height of 44 meters. The rest of the mosque was also left incomplete, with only the beginnings of several walls and 348 columns being constructed. The tower, along with the remains of the mosque and the modern Mausoleum of Mohammed V, forms an important historical complex in Rabat. Although the tower and the mosque were commissioned by Abu al-Mansur, the monument is known as the "Hassan" Tower or the al-Hassan Mosque. How the monument came to be given this name is unknown, although the name's use is attested as early as the 13th century. One suggestion is that it may have been the architect's name, but this is not substantiated.
