Calming Waters

On my way home I went back to the mountain stream but this time I was ready. I took my swimming trunks and swimming shirt with me. I changed and waded my way to a spot where the water was deep enough for me to fully be under it.

It felt like heaven. The water was icy cold. I found a spot to soak where the stream massaged my shoulders. My view was beautiful, it was all green branches leaning over the water, reflecting in it so the water glittered in green too. The sound of little waterfalls trickling down the rocks. I felt this should be made holy. I was saved.

Having water so cold and cooling on a heat wave day helped me so much. I was the temperature of a cold rock during winter once I came up, and I immediately missed the cold. I love getting cooled down!

I kept stopping on my way home to stuff myself with blackberries that grew next to the road, and I found another access point to the stream. I can choose where to go now! I also found these beautiful rocks that both had 2 colors in them, and a red pot lid. I do not have a pot this small but I needed the lid for other reasons. People throw in the water pretty much everything I require.
