EXTREMELY RANDOM thought.

You decide to escape the outside world & retreat to the cabin your grandfather built. Its pretty lonely & you have no idea who the closest neighbor might be or where.

You used to do survival trips with your dad & grandad all the time. You have a gun, but don't need it bc you can swing an axe like Paul Bunyon. At least thats what your dad says.

One day this beautiful wolf, fully black with big golden eyes appears in the gravel "driveway" beside your jeep.

It sits and watches you for a good ten minutes before trotting off into the woods. For weeks it continues to appear and each time stays longer, just watching you.

Its a month now & as you smile at your new friend the sound of heavy boots and soft curses get closer. The wolf just trots towards you and lays his head in your lap watching the direction of the noise.

"There you are you little shit!"

Katsuki Bakugo smirks at the big eyed puppy staring at him from your lap.

"He's yours?" You asked casually though your guard is up.

"More like I'm his. Didn't know where the hell he's been going the last month. Shoulda known it was a pretty woman. He's weak for 'em."

Katsuki's eyes never left the wolf, but the way his smile softened when he spoke made your stomach flip.

"As gorgeous as he is, he should be playing the field," you pet his head gently.

"I'm Katsuki or Bakugo whichever is fine."

"Y/N."

Bakugo nodded taking one last look at his wolf before chuckling.

"Ya ever need anything he knows the way."

"Does he have a name?"

"Yeah. Pain in my ass...He seems to like Lobo. Don't laugh," Bakugo said, but couldn't keep a straight face as you burst out laughing.

"Original."

Bakugo smirked and you found yourself realizing how long it'd been since you talked to another human being. Found yourself wondering what it would take to make that smirk disappear.

"Blame the idiot hikers that point and say wolf every time they see him. You seem like you can take care of yourself, but if ya have a soft heart...look don't go letting just anyone in. People will say their lost and they aren't."

"Thanks. Have you ever had any trouble?"

"Not personally. Just be smart."

"Got it. Lobo have any kind of food preferences?"

Bakugo cocked an eyebrow at you, that smirk reappearing.

"He'll let ya know. It a problem if I come by now and then?"

"Keepin' an eye on me?"

"We're neighbors. Just bein' neighborly."

You truly hoped it wasn't the only reason though.

"Stop by anytime. Your both welcome here," you smiled.

"Tch. Don't read into it."

Your turn to smirk.

"I'm not."

With that he headed back into the woods.
