So, like, in the AUs where she starts off in the Underground and especially the ones where she has a child, it seems like she stays home and takes care of the duties there primarily. If I’ve been reading into it right that is, haha. But in other AUs she has some pretty interesting jobs!

Does she have a preference between the two options? Taking care of the home (and/or child) versus working at a traditional job? Or does she usually do her best and try to combine both and make it all work?

There is only one AU (so far) where Motti canonically has a child. In Divorced Arc, Motti does holds down a job while raising Frankie.

However, earlier while in the Underground in Underfell, it was too dangerous for Motti to be about since it's killed or be killed. So Motti does take care of the home and Frankie, at least up until Frankie is 6 years old and when they got to the surface. After that Motti worked part time jobs until Frankie was old enough that Motti can work a full time job, and in present time she is now an Art Curator.

In Precious Stone (swapfell) it was the same but where The Queen would have killed Motti on sight. So Motti is kept hidden in the bone brothers' home and to make up for it she helps out around the house.

In Smoke 'n Threads (swapfell mafia), Motti is Boysen's seamstress. And she does not live with the bone brothers but in her own small apartment.

Sunset Sodapop, Motti works from home as a Editor. The chores are split between her, Blue and Stretch.

In Cluster Fuck, Motti also works from home as a data entry clerk. She has no choice but to clean up after the Trio because they constantly mess her place up. She does feed them because she is trying to intergrate them back into society with less murdery tendencies and to give them a sense of normalcy.

Motti is a busy buddy and cannot stay still. She is always looking for something to do. Her preference is more that she needs to feel productive and useful as well as pulling her own weight.

However she would rather work than cleaning up after others constantly. If she's in a predicament where that's her only option, she'll deal until something can change.
