Small side project. I attached a fur detachable collar to Sango biker jacket. This collar design is actually not suitable for a detachable collar, because the inside seam is visible. But the long fur covering that, so it is actually not visible. No new pattern pieces are required, just 1~2cm off-set the outer edge of the collar(outside). The wrong side of the collar is a lining fabric. I just hand stitched to the inner edge. Depending on the design, button+loop or snap fasteners may be better options.
