The both of them travel together because of plot reasons (they’re from modern times) and they end up visiting Cang Qiong because sect leader Yue Qingyuan (Wolf, maybe? Maybe a tiger though,,, :3) heard that they have a good relaxant for felines and YQY wants to purchase some for Shen Qingqiu (wildcat… maybe a clouded leopard :3).

Anyways XF ends up selling SY’s personal catnip rather than the relaxant he was supposed to. Now, catnip isn’t widespread across the mortal realm, so nobody really recognizes it (plus it’s bundled up so even if I go the feline YQY route he doesn’t get a sniff of it so he can’t gauge the effects). SY’s not there to correct him because he’s like on other peaks (specifically MQF’s) trading whatever stock he didn’t leave XF to carry (just some personal things like his catnip and his own relaxants and a few toys, things usually not for sale). YQY gives it to Mu Qingfang (idk what he is yet) because he knows SQQ won’t take it if he knows it’s from YQY directly.

Anyways SQQ decides to brew some tea with the herbs before a meeting and he shows up high as a kite. Like his tail is quirked up and he keeps walking past Yue Qingyuan and brushing the man’s face with the tip of his tail. Liu Qingge (idk what I want him to be, should he also be a cat ?:3) stands up abruptly to say something but Shen Qingqiu looks at him, the finger being pointed in his face, and leans forward to headbutt against Liu Qingge’s hand. He’s purring so loudly and when they finally get him in his seat he’s grooming his tail and he starts grooming Yue Qingyuan’s tail as well and he’s oh so very affectionate that everyone is scared. SQQ doesn’t even avoid MQF, in fact he’s extra sweet to MQF who gave him the catnip.

So they made me depressed. Well guess what bitches?? I'm back on my shit again.

LQG grabs a water bottle which he throws at the intruder to catch them off guard, he then goes in with his bare fists.

XF pulls out a massive replica sword (it’s a replica of the protagonist’s sword in one of his web novels) that one of his fans mailed him while he calls MBJ (on accident). It’s made of foam but it can certainly catch someone off guard.

SY grabs the joke gift XF got him for Christmas (it’s a massive dildo) on pure instinct and points it at his room door cautiously incase the intruder tries to enter while he calls for someone.

SJ actually pulls out a knife and watches the intruder from the crack of his door before sneaking out and taking them out of commission.

If YQ was in the dorm visiting SJ honestly he’d be out of SJ’s room when it happens and he just grabs whoever it it from behind and puts them in a chokehold until the pass out, he’s very apologetic while doing it and personally takes them to campus security.

If MBJ is visiting XF, XF stuffs the foam sword into MBJ’s hand when MBJ tries to leave the room (for protection) and MBJ hits the intruder with it so hard that they actually start swaying on their feet. The smack is so loud XF rushes out just to see MBJ looking at the toy sword thoughtfully before lifting it to hit again

If MQF is visiting he’s dead tired and just swings his bag at the intruder—because he’s a medical student and prefers textbooks instead of browsing the web, the intruder is OUT.

Shen Yuan on the other hand always leaves the house when his phone is at like 15 percent and getting surprised when it dies

Shen Yuan being SQQ's windchime wasn't on his list of things he envisioned his future self doing, but it happened and there's nothing he can really do about it.

The system places him there to reform the scum villain, so he's living as a windchime that's been around long enough to develop a spirit.
