My House Shrines

I was cleaning and redecorating our Lady Fortuna statuary shrine to increase prosperity and open commections to abundance and thought I'd share.

If you do not often work with a specific deity on the regular, but do appeal to them for periodic help, it is DEEPLY important that you venerate them in your practice. They don't need elaborate setups or a place on your altar with your house/sovereign deities, but they do need a place just for them. This is what shrines are for.

In my home, we have 4 elemental shrines and this Fortuna shrine in addition to the family altar and my personal working altar. That may seem excessive to some, but this is done to make space for spell work, veneration, and connection to divine sources throughout the house. This provides the ability for me to separate my primary practice from some perhaps less frequent magical or pagan work with sources other than my sovereign gods and it has made a real difference in how I practice my craft.
