Canon EOS 250D Taken on 26/03/2022. * Moresco is a little village nestled among the hills in the province of Fermo. A jewel in the heart of the Marche region, Moresco is rich in art and history, its splendid terraces offering views that stretch from the Adriatic sea to the Gran Sasso d'Italia mountain range. The centrepiece of Moresco has to be the heptagonal tower that was originally built as a lookout and defence point but has undergone numerous structural changes over the centuries. It is perhaps the most impressive and imposing tower in the entire Aso valley. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: 🚆 Take the train from Ancona or Pescara to Porto San Giorgio–Fermo station. 🚌 Then catch a bus to Moresco with 'Trasfer'. Moresco is a little jewel of a village set on top of a hill overlooking the Aso valley. The historic centre is small and intact, dominated by a beautiful heptagonal clock tower. It's so small in fact that you'll see everything within half an hour at most. But why the rush? Take a seat under the gorgeous porticoes and try some of the local produce in what is such a splendid setting.
