So I’ve been trying to figure out what moral alignment Rook is.
The NPCs seem to treat them like they are this Hero™️ but honestly, the way they are written, they are definitely this
Rook actually isn’t a hero, but they’re not a villain either.
They don’t have any values pertaining to morality, because the writers forgot to put that in.
They definitely lack empathy, that’s for sure.
They’re not capable of love.
They’re very self-serving.
Maybe calling them “True Neutral” is too generous.
But they can’t be any anywhere on the “Good” end of the spectrum. Because they would have to have shown that they are a good person.
Which they haven’t.
But nor are they Chaotic Evil.
They’re just Neutral as fuck, with nowhere to go.
i will forever be haunted by the time i tried to answer a d&d alignment chart with as much brutal honesty as i could, thinking i'd be some chaotic edgelord (chaotic good at best), and ended up with this result:
