His head hurt, and felt nagging - but it didn’t take long for Schezo to get over it, and also realize - he’d been cursed before, returned back to his past self, but probably confused his friends and those who met his younger self in the process. After sending a letter to those in charge, he felt a little less cross about everything - so now he should really go and apologize to those he’d met during that strange curse and explain things, right?

The trees not only made for a comfortable location to perch on, but it also gave a nice overview of the entire area upon the tallest branch--- which is where Kurowli rested, taking in the scenery for his personal memorization. It was best to familiarize himself with the entirety of this new world; his scouting now in the Open Air Market of the Chamomile District. 

The stalls and the unique reactions of the bustling crowd made for quite the entertainment. The cheerful faces of the those enjoying their meals, the cries of children who had lost their newly purchased toy ( it was right behind the bench, child! ) and finally the general chatter. It was quite the sight--- with he exception of a rather suspicious girl who’s caught his attention multiple times now.

Libraries, or so he heard, were a source of information for humans... once upon a time. That was how he ended up here, but – something about this place unsettles him. 9S was hardly going to say he believed this city’s claims about magic, and the atmosphere was warm, but... something about the expanse of this building (it’s height, the layers and layers of shelves, farther than any one hand could reach) makes him uneasy. Perhaps it’s just strange... to see a place so big, and yet so inhabited, after all.

Dizziness. To be warped out of something so quickly, so violently like that was hard one the body. He swore he saw his world go to the matrix or whatever they called it as he felt himself hit the solid ground.

How... odd. His knees hitting the pavement with such force left them sore for the rest of the day. Even with all this newfound information and a bit of an allowance, a chance to get a job (he chose zookeeper) and even apartments. He stood there utterly lost. You can’t teach a man a city layout just like that. 

Sighing with frustration, he at least managed to find the library amidst all the walking Gundham had to deal with. “Pah, to treat an overlord like this! Absolutely preposterous!” Musing aloud to his great, dark devas. 

It didn’t take much to possibly get anyone’s attention. It was right before closing time and a tall, strange man comes in talking to hamsters about powers. In all honesty even he realized his faux pas, despite the apathy towards fixing the behavior.

Deep breaths, Marry. Deep breaths. It’s possible that everyone else is here, you just haven’t found them yet. 

Or, at least, it’s that sort of reasoning that keeps Marry from breaking down completely, her whole body already shaking. She can do this. Maybe... Maybe someone’s already seen them. Maybe they woke up before her. 

So, the shivering girl picks someone (who looks the least intimidating) from a crowd, and she walks up to them--

“U...um... Excuse me...?

School was much the same anywhere she went, really. Admittedly, this was one of the more bizarre schools, considering it was run by sheep and even several classmates were sheep. This city was definitely weird. She’d tried to rule it out as a dream or a reality marble---yet what sort of reality marble would last so long? And what was the purpose anyway? 

Somehow, she had a feeling that somewhere, Archer was laughing at her. 

But perhaps more pressing than that was the girl who kept glancing at her during class. It looked like there was something she wanted to say, but Rin couldn’t recall ever meeting the girl before. Finally, the bell rang, signalling the end of class, and Rin packed up her things, stopping at the other girl’s desk on her way out.

  Even though Nanami loved arcades and spent a lot of her free time in them, she was starting to realize that passion alone didn’t make her a good employee. There was actually a lot more to working there than just being good at video games, and some of it didn’t actually come to her very naturally.

  Take what she was doing now, for instance: standing outside the entrance, flyers in hand, trying to convince passersby to try their hand at a promotional event they were running. Pausing to gather up the words she wanted to say, she called out to the next person who walked by.

     Something had bothered Nina since her arrival to this mysterious city. Her speed and strength seemed to have gone down a bit... or maybe everything was heavier and everyone was faster? It was a mysterious city full of sheep, who was Nina to try and give logic to the situation!

     In any case, and as strange as this felt, there was no option for her but to get used to this! Maybe do some physical training could help!

     Just as she was entertaining such thoughts, Nina came to see a girl carrying something -maybe- too heavy for herself. Used to help others to carry heavy stuff around -her previous work being quite literally that- Nina moved forward and lifted what the girl was carrying without breaking a sweat.
