About Mar:

At just four years old, Mar emigrated from Cuba to the UK. Their father was able to get a better paying job here. Settling into a new country was quite challenge to them and their siblings. Most of their family are still living in Cuba and visiting is limited to just the summer. She didn't see her family much growing up, due to that. Mar was never entirely sure in what she wanted to do with her life. So they figured they would follow into their father's footsteps and go into pharmaceutical care. They graduated and landed a job at the pharmacy in the local hospital. At 24 years old, Mar finally moved into a place of her own. She was expecting a lot of things, with the kind of neighbours they had... Just not a soaked raccoon boy breaking in. She views Mitch as a brother, more than a roommate now. Mar owns five pet rats. Nacho, Cheese, Pretzel, Biscuit and Chicken Nugget. Nacho and Cheese being the biggest mischief causers and Chicken Nugget the snuggle bug. She loves snuggling into Mitch's and Mar's hair. Mar likes teaching them tricks. Mar will never admit it to Mitch.. But they hate their job at the pharmacy. The long hours, the night shifts, the occasional addict trying to get their fix... To afford the rent, they know they don't have another choice. But it's eating away at her. The caffeine addiction developed first to get through the long boring shifts.. Then came the irregular sleep pattern due the different shifts at work, stress about making ends meet... It's affecting their sleep greatly. To the point it also is affecting their day. Mar was diagnosed with insomnia. They haven't told Mitch yet... She loves going out to small restaurants amd cafe's to relax for a bit. Along with museums and just watching a movie. They have become a regular at Cafe Regale. Painting is another way for them to relax.

Baking is their biggest passion and she's amazing at it. Maybe one day she'll actually will do something with it...

About Leona:

As Alexander's and Lenora's only child, it was more or less expected from Leona to become a hunter. Along with her older cousins. Just like her father and uncle.

She was teached archery and other important survival skills from a young age by her father and uncle. Along with her older cousins and some other teens. She meets her two friends during this time.

They were quite the strict teachers. It was expected she would be able to take care of herself. It's where she started to crop up her emotions. Leona would later on receive her very first bow from her dad, when he decided she was good enough to have her own.

Leona is just 15 years old when her father dies and her uncle is blinded on a hunt gone terribly wrong. The target escaped.

With his death, the house grew quiet. Friends stopped coming by, her uncle never visited anymore, her grandparents were long gone by then...

Her mom, overcome with grief, is barely home following the night they got the news. Threw herself into her work, anything, if it meant being away. Leaving Leona to take care of the house and herself. She has never felt more alone.

At age 18, Leona joins the hunters close to Silverben Swamp. To fullfill her father's wish and get away from the empty house.

By this time Leona has learned to rely solely on herself. Learned to do everything herself, barely asks for help, because she's been let down so often.

One of her first assignments was help capture the half-blood that took her father from her with a small group... She was left with an injury to her back, but succeeded. She thought she would be happy, but has never felt more empty. That night was the first night in a long time she allowed herself to break down.

She's injured while checking the traps one day. Bodie finds her and takes her back to his cabin. Has to slightly coax her into letting him treat her leg.

Over the time she spends there, it becomes more and more clear everyone in her immediate surroundings were wrong. And she doesn't know what to do with it. Keeps the guilt all down, knowing damn well she's also has hurt these people.

Timmy and Marco become the first friends she's had in a long time. She sees Bodie as the parental figure she desperately needs at this point.

The guilt is just eating and eating away. Leona reaches a breaking point, when she admits to being a hunter to Bodie.

Timmy is captured shortly after. And the entire shitshow in the arena goes down. They escape, but they are far from safe yet.
