The more he kept working in his lab growing up, the more his hands started to get affected with burns, wounds, and scars, even when he kept them covered. Everyone else thinks it's just apart of his signature style, but he's legitimately afraid of having them slip off and seeing other people's faces when they see them.

The only one who's really allowed to see them is Dee Dee. He's kept them covered for Yasmin for so long, and she's thought about it from time to time, but didn't want to push him into revealing his fears. Every day he grows a little more afraid about what she would think most of all.

I long for her Healing silver, The peace of her mount On the hill. How much would it be, How many pennies Would I need to pay To have That much love to spill? And, tell me, if you will, Just how many Hearts would it fill?
