Decided to customize one of my @gowan shirts today - there were holes happening on the sides and shoulders, so I decided to go all Pinterest on it lol. Cut slits on the shoulders and sides - I just ended up doing a weave design on the shoulders instead of just leaving it. I also braided the sleeves, by cutting strips then braiding in two's.
