Yuuri is an otaku and a theater kid. And Viktor supports that.
I think Yuuri loves anime, specifically classic anime openings, like Moonlight Densetsu, Sailor Moon's Opening Song.
You can't tell me he DIDN'T secretly choreograph a Sailor Moon exhibition with Viktor as Tuxedo Mask.
I plan on writing this in my time travel fic. I think he's gonna go full-on otaku on his 2nd debut as a Senior in the alternate timeline.
Since Yuuri's trained in Detroit, I'm sure a friend of his invited him to watch broadway musicals. Theater and Ballet go hand-in-hand, in a way, so Yuuri couldn’t decline such an invitation.
He then became a theater kid, dragging Phichit with him.
Besides...IMAGINE A VIKTUURI PAIRS EXHIBITION SKATE TO PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. Yuuri as Christine and Viktor as the Phantom, of course.

it was SO FUN and beautiful and the way they handled just everything was so so incredible and i am manifesting the fact that this tour will have done SO WELL that they're like "wow it's crazy we haven't brought this to NA before, we'll make sure we do that again asap"
