Had the eclipse never happed and Casca found out she was pregnant, I really don’t think she’d be ready to settle down into domesticity, like in Griffith’s heteronormative nightmare scenario
Hell, Guts wouldn’t have been around to even find out with Casca if she was pregnant or not, because weren’t they going to go their separate ways before the eclipse happened? So there would be no father around
