Deleted a bunch of posts because I’m on my Moon Cycle.
Buck Moon in Aquarius ✴︎ July 29
A Full Moon of personal growth and new horizons, awakening the courage to be yourself and follow your own unique path. A time of freedom, inspiration, and transformation.
The perfect moment to release old limitations, open your heart to new possibilities, and take a step toward your future. 🦌🌕🌿✨
rituals by moon phase laid out with a match, a bowl of water and the tiniest lunar altar begin, build, thank, release. i like that the cycle makes room for effort and endings instead of asking every night to be a fresh start

the Full Moon is in 3 days if anyone even cares..
I’m almost 51 and still bleeding.
My cycles have become beautifully, and sometimes wildly, unpredictable. Some months the blood arrives like an old friend. Other times it surprises me. Yet through it all, my desire remains very much alive. That primal need for touch, closeness, release, and sacred intimacy hasn’t faded. If anything, it has deepened.
In many ancient traditions, a woman’s bleeding time is honored as sacred. It is the body’s natural rhythm of release and renewal. Just as the Moon governs the tides, she mirrors the powerful inner tides within us at every age and stage.
When intimacy happens during this time, whether planned with intention or simply because my body decided today was the day, the presence of blood does not diminish the connection. For me, it can deepen it. There is a raw, honest energy that feels incredibly bonding, vulnerable, and alive. The blood carries the same life-giving essence it always has.
To the men reading this: if you are sharing life and intimacy with a woman, especially one navigating perimenopause, this may happen. Her cycles may become unpredictable. The bleeding may arrive unexpectedly or linger longer than before. At some point, it may coincide with your time together. Approach it with the same love, curiosity, and respect you bring to every other part of her. Many women in this season discover that some of their most connective and meaningful intimacy happens right here.
That said, it is not for everyone. Some choose to refrain from intimacy during their Moon time, while others embrace a deeper sense of connection during this phase. The key is always mutual desire, open communication, and honoring what feels right for everyone involved.
As for me, I am choosing to honor every phase of this journey: the unpredictable bleeding, the strong desires, and the sacred blood that still flows.
The Moon does not apologize for her changing phases.
Neither do I. 🌹
Have you experienced this kind of connection during her cycle, especially in perimenopause or later? Or are you navigating these changes yourself?
