The improved moodcubes has still the same concept but the background changed from buttons to pictures of items from the collection. These items communicate a love story of the two lovers, that can be seen in the form of silhouettes inside of the box.

Mood cube; 1st version
The outside of the box is the typical box you keep in your attic or basement filled with photographs, casettes and objects of the past. The inside of the mood cube shows filmrolls spilling out of a treasure box, referring to the concept that our memories are treasures. The paper pieces show a form of communication with text and the buttons represent vinyls.

10 September Making a Moodcube
Voor het maken van een tentoonstelling heb je een inspiratiebron nodig. Dit was de opdracht van het maken van een moodcube. Hierbij heb ik de bezoeken aan de musea deels als inspiratie gebruikt. Verschillende aspecten vond ik interessant:
- Esthetische als uitgangspunt in combinatie met kunst - Historische display - Minimalisme - Niet alleen zien en bekijken ook kunnen voelen en ruiken > het zintuigelijke
Dit alles heb ik samengevoegd tot bovenstaande Moodcube welke het algehele idee moest laten overbrengen. Achteraf gezien was deze moodcube een gekke samenhang van allerlei elementen het was eigenlijk een beetje van alles.
