#monster interactions

There was never an official day the two of you started dating. You had flings, had dates (which you both refused to call dates. Just “outings” whenever someone would point out just how many you had.) and you’ve spent many hours at each other’s places. So, there was never an official date, you both just fell into the typical couple routine.

During the day, while you were doing your daily routine; Danny would be sleeping. You only see each other during the night and even then it would be fleeting because you were human. You needed sleep. And Danny, despite his desire to keep you awake all night, knew you needed rest.  But eventually, your routines changed to give yourself more time with Danny at night. 

Dates with Danny would be fun. Movie nights were a favourite and common occurrence. Danny loved movies, the B-grade monster movies to the hard-core gore fest; including the films people called “chick flicks”. Everything was entertaining to him. And he adored cuddling up with on the couch with snacks and drinks (mostly blood soaked treats or beverages for him) and letting the night roll by while the two of you gawked at how bad a movie was. 

Also, expect little gifts from Danny. Nothing extravagant… maybe a really nice set of clothes you’d look downright stunning in. Maybe limit edition objects you’ve had your eye on, but never had the money to personally purchase. Little pieces of jewellery were common, and Danny never held it against you if you didn’t wear them much. But more commonly, were silly little trinkets or alley-store, dollar shop nick-nacks that instantly made him think of you. 

Connor (see the OC description sheet for info) is constantly rolling his eyes at the little affectionate gestures Danny pampers you with. The two Vampires are rarely not seen together, and the poor Irish creature has to put up with love-struck Danny. 

“If ya didn’t make him so happy, I’d sabotage your relationship just ta make the googly eyes stop!” Connor would be known to say to you. All with a teasing tone and in that thick accent of his. 

“But then you’d have to deal with heart-broken Danny. And from what I heard from his mother, it’s not a pretty sight either.” You’d retort. All the while, Danny is loving the “fight over his affections” between you and Connor.

His Family absolutely adores you. You’re the human sibling his brother and sisters never had, and the child his parents couldn’t Turn. You were too precious and adorable. 

They’d be known to “kidnap” you from Danny and swallow you up in their family dinners or outings. They’re more human activities at least. You very rarely see anything Vampiric from the family, until Danny and his siblings start getting on each other’s nerves. And a fight of supernatural power is started. 

Swarms of bats and mist of red would slam into each other as the siblings fought. Snarls and growled words were exchanged in a language you didn’t recognise. But you’re never in the firing line. Until one of the siblings started to lose the fight, and you be used as a “peace offering” to Danny to stop a brutal beating. 

Danny hated that they brought you into their fights. He wasn’t ashamed of his lifestyle or what he was. He’d constantly state, “If you were frightened by me or my power, then I wouldn’t have fallen for you so deeply. You would have left me a long time ago.” 

And it was true. You didn’t fear him or his family. You loved him, all of him. And it allowed you to see both sides of Danny. 

The smiling, cheerful, smirk wielding smart-ass that would destroy politicians with a few words. And the ancient predator that fought in wars and spilled oceans of blood. It’s no secret that Danny is a killer. Both hundreds of years before you, and any waking moment he needs to feed. 

He almost never feeds from you. That is the only rule he has laid out for himself. He hasn’t told you his reasoning, but then you don’t want to push him either. You get to see him in a monstrous form or fangs and claws, carried through the night by a nightmarish creature that whispered in Danny’s sultry tone. 

You got to see a whole other world that people either dreamed of or were terrified to witness. So, you didn’t question Danny when he said no to your request to experience being bitten and your blood consumed. 

Because Danny allowed you to see his world, so you could do him the courtesy of respecting his one rule.

Ambrius:

The Minotaur loves food. And he’s always searching for more recipes to learn and try at home. So, it’s no surprise that you two met at a cooking workshop.

You were seated near one another and got to talking. Simple and smooth chit-chat while you both half listened and half concentrated on the meal in front of you.

When your meal got a little burnt, Ambrius was quick to share his finished product while the teacher was looking the other way. Hiding your failed piece of food somewhere to the side while he slid some of his master-piece onto your plate. You were both still sniggering over it as you left the class. Both having gotten a high rating on your prepared meals.

Ryuu:

To be honest, your first meeting with Ryuu would have been terrifying.

Big Dragon that is not at all happy with you being in his territory? You can expect to be chased out by this massive creature.

But also, the Dragon has all sorts of puzzles dotted around his home. He likes to confuse, and otherwise kill, travellers in all sorts of weird and complex ways.

And when you started to disarm, or even somehow get around his traps, Ryuu is instantly curious enough to show himself and demand to know how you got pass his “toys”.

For the rest of the day, you’ll be giving Ryuu more diabolical criticism on his traps. Making them even harder for the next unfortunate traveller to pass by his territory.

Damorius:

How does anyone get the attention of a Demon? You summon them. And that is no different to how you met this Lord of HellFire. You would have had to do a lot of research and preparation to get this Demon’s attention.

But even if you had failed in calling him, your dedication alone would have turned his gaze to you.

He’s interested. And that’s more dangerous than you successfully pulling off the summoning. Damorius is use to desperate Souls. But one so dedicated to locate and use one of his ancient summons? That’s a being he cannot just simply take so soon. So, you two sit down and talk. For hours. He brushes aside any worries you have of him taking your Soul, or making a deal. 

“Later, little one. I want to know more about you. I want to know you personally.”
