Mononykus, a small theropod from late Cretaceous Mongolia, best known for the single large claw taking up most of her front limbs which might have been useful for tearing into rotting wood to get at hidden insects.
As the ear structure was similar to that of owls, she might have benefited from a facial disk of feathers to help funnel sound in the same way.

For @a-dinosaur-a-day 's Draw Dinos Daily daily dinosaur prompt (I like saying that sentence out loud.) It's a Mononykus and chicks very, very loosely inspired by the colours of the Blue Laced Red Wyandotte fowl. It's a very pretty chicken.
