So. Beatbreak digimon trying to hide that they're digimon, right?

Ludomon, Pristimon, and Chiropmon are passable as plushies/toys, Cougarmon is a big cat, Gekkomon and Syakomon are small enough to hide in a big enough bag

But Monodramon?

Monodramon is too big to hide in a bag, doesn't really look like a plushie, and doesn't look anything like any real life animal

SO I PROPOSE:

That is, I point to an example of another digimon whom we see the birth of and end up with very different temperaments to their tamer.

RedVeggiemon.

Shiitake, RedVeggiemon's owner, isn't usually a particularly violent or vengeful person, he showed that when he inevitably went against RedVeggiemon in the episode. RedVeggiemon was like that because they were born from Shiitake's violent desire for revenge and that feeling was so strong that it made RedVeggiemon's entire personality very violent and sadistic.

Now let's go back to Monodramon. Monodramon has no confidence in themself but Raito is shown to be incredibly confident. Some people have said that this must mean Raito's confidence was faked and Monodramon's lack of self confidence is closer to what his true self is like but I don't think this is the case. I've also seen people say that his unwavering faith in Raito is meant to represent how much confidence Raito has in himself, but I think that part is just a byproduct of how their two personalities would naturally mix together (aka Monodramon who has no confidence started to rely on Raito and his confidence).

Instead, I think it's a similar case to RedVeggiemon, where it's more related to the circumstances that caused Monodramon's birth. Raito is usually very confident so for Monodramon to have ended up with no self confidence, the moment of Monodramon's birth must be a moment of severe insecurity and self doubt for him just like the moment of RedVeggiemon's birth being Shiitake in the middle of being very consumed by the desire for revenge.

If they do know then I am pretty sure they are scratching their heads on how Monodramon is Raito's mirror image because of how different their personalities are.

I feel like you will know that they are mirror images if you get to know Raito more. At least that is what I think.

I mentioned in a previous post I mentioned the Overbloters wold birth their own Digimon after their saved from their Over-blots.

The fact that Digimon are mirror images of their owners is first mentioned as an ecoragment to Riddle when Black-Pawnchessmon appears.

Later the meeting where Crowley explains Overblots will include Riddle, Trey, and Cater to also explain Digimon, the Mirror World, and discuss what the next steps are for Riddle and Black-Pawnchessmon.

They are not stepping foot into it is are they? I can just imagine the ghost enjoying scaring Monodramon and the others trying to get Monodramon in the house since Raito is definitely not letting them stay out.

At that point they both or camping out of NRC whether the others like it or not.

The first night at Ramshackle is crazy when the ghost appears. Monodramon screams like crazy clinging to Raito. Raito has to embarrassedly admit Monodramons fears, but they can’t go outside because it’s raining.

Luckily Grim shows up and he, Gekkomon and Tomaro subdue the ghosts. Leading to Grim staying with them as Tomaro’s pet.

They later come to an agreement with the ghost. Which does include to not scare Monodramo, but the refuse to go into Ramshackle without Raito carrying him like a baby. They do eventually get used to the ghost in their house. But still panic at unfamiliar ghost event shenanigans.
