Umiri: after a while i DID come to the conclusion that my first impression of Umiri like. slinging an arm around someone's neck and whispering in their ear is what her pose is Supposed to be. she just wants someone to listen to her. she's very reticent and aloof and the (1) time she tried to butt into an argument nyamu told her to back off. combined with the 30 pro bands and her knowing the band would break up. im sure she's gone thru so many band breakups and no one wanted to hear her opinion so. she just stopped offering it and just focused on the job. (also i was gonna draw that version to post with these ones but i wasn't feeling it when i tried so. the shippy n silly versions is all u get)

ofc this comes to bite her in the ass when she's the only one* who noticed mutsumi was off but didn't act on it bc it didn't involve her. she also has a scorpion in the background and all i can think of is the scorpion and frog parable.

the other poses are all pretty clear and also umiri is my fave so they're gonna get shorter ones

Uika: reaching out. probably for saki. probably telling herself its For saki's sake when in reality she's just painfully lonely. *also yes uika also showed mild concern for mutsumi but despite being invested in 'the band' she was only focused on sakiko so rip mutsumi

Mutsumi: a sword is splitting her in half. she has DID. which they're handling better than i feared

Nyamu: tasting the forbidden fruit. falling to the temptation of easy praise and ruining saki's plan only to realize that she's Not that special. currently crippled with the 'knowledge' that mutsumi is better at acting than she is (nvm that. mutsumi/mortis is not acting)
