All of our intakes start off in cages, like the one you see here. This allows us to get to know the cats and their personalities, and provide medical care and vaccinations, before allowing them to venture out into the rest of the house and meet the free-roamers. Once we are sure the cats are comfortable, they become permanent free-roamers and a new resident takes their cage (unless they need one again for various reasons ☺️). Some of our cats get adopted from the cage before they reach the free-roaming point, some of them get adopted running full speed through the main room 😂😂 Winston and Luna arrived this past weekend, so they are temporarily being housed in this cage until their medical is completed. Winston has been VERY vocal about his excitement to free-roam 😂🥰
