I believe that Eli is messy but clean and I can definitely see the cottage core-y decor. Unlike Ori (who thinks he has no personality), Eli has too many, so you'd find stuff she bought for herself because it speaks to her soul and stuff her mother has bought for her to make her someone else.

I guess she has 200$ semi-metallic ultra-modern statues on which she has suspended hand-crafted rope necklaces she's bought on a small market.

Eli is not necessarily in touch with her own feelings so she thinks that it was chance that she chose Ori. I'd like to believe that the first time he sees her flat, he'd go : "Oh? Oh!"

And an actual cottage with a real lantern (none of that LED-shit) is her secret dream.

Kinect + Arduino で本物の人形を操る "Monkey Business"

... " Monkey Business " は Kinect でロボットあやつり人形を操作する作品ぬいぐるみには金属の骨格と10個のサーボモータ、コントローラにArduinoが仕込まれており、正面に立つ人の 動きを Kinect でキャプチャしてリアルタイムに「猿まね」します。作者は Ralph Kistler, Jan M. Sieber 氏。

リアルタイム骨格トラッキングは Kinect 本来の用途であり、バーチャルなキャラクターやアバターを全身で操る遊びは Xbox 360セットを買ってきたその日に市販ゲームで体験できますが、現実の人形がここまではっきりと忠実に、クイックに動く様子は新鮮です。また「アバターを 動かす」ではなく「向かい合ったサルが真似する」体裁であるために、遊んでいるのか作品に遊ばれているのか、どちらが操られているのかを問いかけるアート らしいアートでもあります。動画では最初の踊る / 踊らされる場面のあと、ナレーションと演出つきの制作過程が見られます。映像としての完成度も高いドキュメンタリーです。
