Was watching Monk again for the first time in forever & I forgot how sweet the little moments in “Mr. Monk Goes to the Ball Game” were. I liked Monk pretending to give good baseball advice to Benji (it was while Sharona was looking, yes, but it was also to cheer up Benji as best he could!). The sweetest moment, however, was when the baseball guy suspect told Monk that he could do him a favor whenever he liked AND THE FIRST THING MONK DOES IS HAVE BASEBALL GUY GIVE LESSONS TO BENJI! NO HESITATION! Never say Monk is heartless or doesn’t care about anyone other than Trudy cause he literally loves Benji as his son I’m gonna cry
