as many of you, I love photography and explore great pictures on Tumblr, Facebook, Flikr, Instagram, Pinterest and other photo sharing networks. But, does photographers make money there when we look at their awesome shots? No, no one is paying them for viewing their photos! 

I want change this by launching PicsRox.com

What I want?

let photographers monetize photos by linking to advertisers using hashtags

let advertisers reward photographers for native brand advertising in amazing photos with personal messages engaging thousands followers of photographers like, share, discuss, learn more and go

partner with photographers and share revenue from native advertising

establish photo sharing network were photos generate revenue for photographers as native ads

offer great mobile user experience in mobile apps where no annoying ads but amazing photos engage people to action - like, share, discuss, learn more and go for it

What I did so far?

I created proof of concept site and filling it now with photos of Latvia to explain the project idea and user experience. This is blog on Tumblr.com so you can access it from Android and iOS mobile devices as well. Please visit PicsRox.com and PicsRox blog using Tumblr's mobile apps to learn more.

What I will do with collected funds even don’t reach my entire goal?

spend on development of platform for counting hits and billing and also native mobile apps for Android and iOS to interface directly with created blog on Tumblr.com.

I feel like more exclusive somehow, now that I have time to wait and pour over my posts that I am going to make here on tumblr. I am forced to improve on my composition & keep off internet. I feel like maybe I have hot content for $$$.
