LW: “I’ve had many guests on the Podcast before but only a few actually meet the wrestling with fashion so well. You never look bad. BUT since the podcast is about surprises… what was your worst gear? I don’t have one so don’t bother asking for an opinion.”

MM: “oh… this is definitely a hard hitting question since i love the gears i’ve worn. this feels like i’m being put on the spot but i like it. so i’ll try my best to list them from least favorite to absolutely HATE IT and wish i never worn it. first one would have to be the wonder woman gear from the first ever women’s royal rumble. i know some fans love it but… i question their fashion. i’m trying to figure out how they liked it when i didn’t. second would be the hart tourment i wore in the semi-finals. it was kind of cute but it wasn’t very me, you know? i love going all out when it comes to presenting myself. third would have to be… whatever i wore at all out 2024. the gear designer i commissioned didn’t do a good job since it felt like they didn’t try at all. which to me means they didn’t put in the effort and i don’t like that. you have to put in all the effort when it comes to it. i’m not expert when it comes to making gears but still. third and final one would have to be the all american gear i wore for capital collision in dc for njpw. i didn’t like i wore a tracksuit before taking it off. i know i should’ve given it the benefit of the doubt since it was my first defense for the njpw strong women’s championship but i can’t lie to your face and say i loved it. that’s not the person i am. i know some of my fans love these gears since i’ve seen their tweets and say why isn’t this gear talked as much. well there’s a reason why it’s not talked. i guess people have different fashion taste then, right?”

LW: “This question might be a little controversial but what wrestling experience do you feel is the “hardest”? Do you feel like a tight schedule like WWE but arguably more competitive is harder than the independent scene?”

MM: “not a controversial question for me since i’m known to make controversial takes or whatever so i don’t mind answering this. this question is taking me a bit longer since i’ve never been asked this before but it’s a good one so i appreciate you asking this. i’m going to go with wwe’s schedule since it is a very difficult schedule when i used to work there. i rarely had any free time since i was on the road constantly and had to go to the next venue. oh, don’t get me on the house shows. i was always exhausted from them. i remember i asked my former boss if i could take a break but he declined and said to just suck it up and continue. which i did for a very long time until i left. nowadays i feel much better schedule wise. sure, traveling countries is tiring and you get major jet lag but i get to have a proper rest when i come back and sleep in all day. i didn’t have that but now i do and i’m grateful i can finally have a schedule that isn’t as hard as the one i had in wwe.”

LW: “You versus Bayley at TakeOver changed the brain chemistry of the masses. This is a fact. Is there a moment in your career you felt that same energy or was that match just a very good but a standard one for you? I bet it wasn’t.”
