fortunately for you anon, i am one of the like five people who has seen legends! great show! incredibly weird! if anyone reading this has only seen the first season trust me you have not gotten the true legends experience. there's a season finale that (spoilers) culminates with all the members of the team magically transforming themselves into a shared entity in the form of a giant stuffed animal (this universe's previously established tickle me elmo parody) and then they defeat the season's bad guy in their shared consciousness giant plushie form. and the show only gets weirder from there!

behrad tarazi: the Top of my 'get this legends character on last meals' list ngl. he's a foodie AND destined to die in every timeline n also weird enough to match josh scherer's energy. i absolutely see them yapping it up. he's certainly got the most diverse line-up from very junk-foody, cheddar biscuits and squeezable butter territory type shit to fine dining, with some persian cuisine and 2040s certified health food up in the mix. he sent in his email and they asked him to please trim it down.

astra logue: being in hell and kinda dead for like your adolescence absolutely affects how u think abt death. i think she's less philosophical n abstract but she says some crazy shit in that interview i am sure. however i don't think she has any really interesting meal suggestions. like she's throwing bugs in there but @thehangerson said that she came out of hell with the food preferences of a nine year old. and i agree that it's like that + steak and good whiskey. very confusing stuff

jax jackson: my boyyy. he's gone through some shit but like obviously stein's death rattled him and losing someone so close to him to the point where they nearly died together bc of their bond makes him think a lot about mortality! to me it's in the middle of the road food wise, he's def a legend where his time on the team has influenced his choices in terms of historical foods he tried and would love to try one more time before he died but not make himself yk. funniest of these is LBJ's wife's pie simply bc of the origin of that recipe coming into his life

mona wu: mona n jax are kinda similar bc their perspectives on mortality are due to someone really close to them dying n leaving an indelible mark on them forever. however for mona it's someone she loved so deeply and she's such a romantic so she has a very different perspective than he does abt living on and kinda living for that person. in terms of food it's like. i don't think her food tastes are boring but it's kinda middle of the road in terms of what she's bringing to the table. mostly vegetarian and then a bloody rare steak in honor of wolfie

gideon: gideon's a mixed bag to me bc i don't know if she's been alive enough to think about her own mortality too much. she's definitely had time to think about the deaths of the people she's loved n cared for and the pain of that. but josh is giving her an existential crisis on the spot i think. as a former AI who had access to what i'm sure is a massive library of food fabrication options her choices are less. foods that she's personally experienced and more foods she can't die without having tried. some of these are definitely classics legends group meal moments
