Dmitry Yuryevich Bivol is a Russian professional boxer and the current undisputed Super Light-Heavyweight champion of the world. He is an Olympic gold medalist who won various Russian and European boxing championships in his youth and has had over 280 amateur fights before starting his professional career. He's held the world's Light-Heavyweight title since 2017
Dmitry is the second of 3 children. His father, Yuriy Bivol, was born in Moldova, and his mother Yelena is an ethnic Korean born in Kazakhstan. His parents graduated together, married and then moved to start a family in Kyrgyzstan, where Dmitry was born. The Bivols moved to St Petersburg when Dima was 11 years old. He has two sons with his ex-wife Ekaterina, who like him, is also Eurasian
