Fun story time: I have autism and it makes it really hard to ask for things in stores, so when I went to my favorite game/card resale store to get some One Piece cards it took me a minute to build up the confidence to ask the guy at the counter for a couple packs. Super nice guy, definitely knowledgeable on the art of trading cards because he set a stack of card packs on the counter, told me to pick one and when I took the top one he says "Really, the top one? I could've done that for you, pick a good one." And I'm anxious and sweaty as hell, but it made me smile so I listen to his advice and take one from the middle, I also pick a couple packs from a different box, once again grabbing from the middle. When all is said and done and I'm opening my packs in the car, the second card I pull is a Mohji card that I've been looking for:
So I'm already hyped as fuck, and then I proceed to pull TWO Helmeppo cards:
THIS MAN KNEW. HE BLESSED ME WITH 3 CARDS I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR.
Morals of the story are never let your anxiety win, and never pick the first card pack you see.
