Draw a pony experiencing your favorite moment in the fandom / Draw a pony experiencing how you discovered FiM for the very first time (SFW). I first came across G4 ponies browsing Reddit. My sister had some G3 videos (she still insists they are better, the crazy kid) but I avoided them through childhood when she watched them because ponies were for girls. I've since watched them of my own accord. Anyway, one day browsing Reddit, I came across an analysis post involving Applejack at the S1 gala and comparing the price of things depicted in the show. I don't remember exactly and I can't find the post. I heard that this pony show was making the rounds and that it was pretty good, so I watched the series premier...then the next episode, and the next and so on. I spent every spare minute I had (and some I didn't) binging episodes. I ran out of episodes about the same day "Cutie Pox" came out on iTunes, which is how I know that this happened circa November 2011 because my memory of time is crap. As time passed I discovered pony tumblr blogs and fimfiction and made a blog of my own and wrote fanfiction. The blog started as crappy drawings I did in MS Paint that were supposed to imply a small child did them (and oh boy did they). I bought my first drawing tablet to make the blog better. I started writing a very ambitious multi-chapter fic about a certain favorite pairing of mine and one very prolific commenter sent me his opinion after I posted every chapter. I asked if he wanted to edit my stuff and we've been friends ever since. I submitted and failed to get a fic on EQD then later, I wrote My Limitless Lily and submitted it to EQD and to my great surprise and delight it was accepted and later was chosen by Scribbler for an audio reading. Through my perusal of fan art, I've found so many TV shows, comics and other things that I enjoy to this day.
