#mod stripes

Gwen, Mod Stripes here, (I realise now that I might have just been throwing that word around too much without really looking at the meaning of that word but I’m just going to use “mod” for this post). I’m pretty sure that this is not total news by now since I have not posted something for almost a year by now but... 

I just want to say that USA pony will officially stop making new posts from now on. I have seen this happen to many blogs and I’m sad to say this myself but for the past year, I’ve felt that I’ve gathered more stress, in return for more interests. I want to continue exploring things that could give me joy and experience, thus has led me to start getting more active outside of tumblr.

I realise that at this point, this might disappoint a LOT of people and wonder why I’m not continuing where I left off. I feel like If I've done that, I will disappoint you all again and it would become an endless cycle of just reviving her again and again. Besides just picking up from a point far, far ago just seems... tasteless... I already am a terrible mod trying to live off others expectations than my enjoyment and it just feels selfish. The best I can do now is to inform you all to stop expecting another attempt at revival.

But nothing has been as special to me as this fandom and what gave me the motivation to start this blog. When I first started I was planning to just make it a fun little blog where a ponified country brags about how good they are and the glory of bacon when they haven’t even done anything THAT great. However, I did not expect that so many of you (I’m looking at you 3,777 ppl >_>) to give so much love to this little blog! I was overwhelmed when there were so many, some more active than others, supporting not only the blog but me as a “mod”

I have interacted with so many of you and I honestly consider that the best time of my life, it did not matter who I was ok maybe a little but, just talking normally to people from this fandom- which is overall such a comfortable, nice fandom to me- gave me so many experiences and time to get over my shell which helped me a lot as a person. 

I just want to tell you all how much I’ve enjoyed my time drawing and making silly posts without a care! I felt like I did not give enough to show how grateful I am but at the same time, I don't want to leave you all in the dark with this blogs development.
