Pride!

Well. Not really. He would look conventionally attractive if he put effort into his appearance and. Kept proper hygiene

The Pit is an infinite hole. Where you fall forever. Also it has all of the person's worst nightmares and fears (hallucinated) as a added bonus.

You COULD theoretically escape considering it's. Literally just a pit? But if you've been falling for too long I don't think you can climb out at that point

Oh also. It's. Really big. In length. Massive pit so it's hard to reach the walls in the first place but the King COULD remove anyone from the pit if he wanted

Also. You can't. Die. You just fall forever The Pit has a magical effect that keeps anyone in it alive forever <- other magical effects include: stripping you of any powers

hi after an experience with someone being pulled out of The Pit i can now officially it deeply traumatized whoever goes in also senses of time is wrapped in there also your eyes. Kinda turn yellow. Blame the hallucinations

The Pit is located somewhere in the back of the king's castle. Behind a big golden gate. There aren't any guards (why would there be...) but the gate can only be unlocked by one of the keys the king has

I imagine the gate is like. Firm and hard despite being gold. It's magically enchanted ok trust ALSO the gate is 3 meters tall
