Hello! I'd love to be able to highlight trans artists for @artfight.
If you, or a trans artist you like, are participating in artfight, please suggest them to me in the comments or through asks !
Happy pride everyone!
This week is to thank the people who make our transitions possible. In part, they are the legislators and activists who make our world better by making our transitions legal.
They're also the researchers who test the effects of HRT and innovate surgical techniques to make our lives safer. The doctors who do the procedures, and accompany us through trials, tribulations, and years-long waitlists.
There's a long road ahead, but we've come a long way.
Today, I want to thank a transfem friend of mine who wrote a paper about trans people in psychology, and all the people who work to make our future brighter.
Happy pride everyone!
This week, I want to highlight the people who have helped us without even meeting us. The people who post resources online, the people who organise events... But also the people who make accessing gender affirming care and clothes easier to us.
I remember when even finding a chest binder was a trial. I remember unsafe, at-home ways to bind one's chest being the most accessible thing to me for a long time. Today, I can look up "chest binder" in a search engine and find many companies from which i can buy them, some of them even organising giveaways for those who cannot afford or access gender affirming material.
So thank you! To all the people who sew, craft, and publish trans stories. But most importantly, thank you to the community organisers, the people who often make those stories possible, but also visible in broad daylight.
Happy pride everyone!
This week, I want to highlight the people who have supported me in my transition. In our current socio-eco-political context, I think we ought to be proper proud of the people who keep supporting the trans community at large, especially when they aren't queer themselves.
For me, personally, these people would be my best friend's parents. They helped me get out of an abusive situation, and have always done their best to respect my gender. Recently, my friend's mum brought me to a shop which does really good compression bras, for example.
So, if you're trans, take a minute to thank the people in your life!
And if you're not, thank you for supporting me and all my trans siblings in these trying times 🫶

May I ask if mod is an adult? I want to make sure before I follow. Thank you!
Yeah, I guess I really haven't presented myself.
So: Yep, I'm an adult.
I don't tend to label myself, but for the purposes of this blog, the closest I can say is that I'm a gay, gender non-conforming trans man (I use he/him exclusively), and I'm currently in a relationship with an agender (he/it) person.
English is not my first language, so I'll do my best with grammar, but feel free to tell me if there are typos I haven't caught.
Y'all have no idea how warm I feel seeing all the people who have been interacting with my posts. Thank you so much ❤️
I'm really happy that I get to show the world a bit more trans joy
Suddenly i remember why i dont usually do sideblogs. Sorry to the people who saw my reblogs, those were accidental!
